TMA designed the Santa Fe Restaurant in Willow Park, Texas, now operating as Los Vaqueros West. This project represents Texas Southwest architecture, blending rugged, local materials with warm, inviting comfort.
Spanning 4,702 square feet, we optimized views of the local terrain in the site plan and anchored the building in its landscape using native limestone and local wood accents. We economically sourced and refurbished untreated pine beams from Texas telephone poles, which provide a rustic, monumental structural style.
TMA designed custom fireplaces crafted from limestone and local wood both indoors and on the patio. The layout flows into an expansive outdoor patio that captures the spirit of open-air Texas hospitality. TMA also hired a local artist and oversaw the creation of a large scale mural inspired by the iconic works of Georgia O’Keeffe.
